Magnet Program: Mathematics, Science, and Technology
Each Student explores math, science, and technology through creative hands-on experiences integrated through out the curriculum. Teachers help students to identify global resources and to use problem-solving strategies and mental mapping to connect ideas and show relationships. Students research and plan scientific models and environments and collect, compile, and organize data to be displayed in a written format. Students are actively engaged in the reading and writing process while participating in activities such as story summarization, research and communication using a networked classroom and computer lab.
